Alex Chase

Experience

​Alexander Chase has been in the environmental compliance field since 2014. He actively engages in projects involving Local/State/Federal air permit compliance, emission calculations, and air permitting. Has successfully prepared and submitted emissions inventories for a variety of industrial facilities. He has assisted with the preparation and submittal of various state and federal operating air permits. His has a unique ability to understand client operations and be able to provide expert guidance to client management resulting in compliance assurance, program implementation, and cost savings. 

Experience at Kinder Morgan in Lakewood

​

  • Project support for Kinder Morgan’s Environmental, Governance, and Sustainability reporting initiative.

  • Primarily tasked with gathering operating data and calculating annual emissions for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission sources throughout Kinder Morgan’s Terminals business unit.  

Experience at Kinder Morgan Liquids Terminals

  • Project support for multiple bulk liquids storage facilities throughout Texas.

  • Primarily tasked with calculating and maintaining emissions inventory data for each facility.

  • Other tasks include implementing and maintaining emission tracking programs, providing permit-driven guidance to operations personnel, and audit support.   

Experience at Baker Hughes Petrolite

​

  • Onsite project support for several chemical blend facilities located throughout the US.

  • Primarily tasked with completing environmental reviews for all product storage requests and ensuring state and federal storage requirements were followed at chemical blend plants located throughout Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and California.

  • Other tasks included communicating site-specific operating restrictions to EHS site managers for new products, performing emission calculations for chemicals not yet authorized under site-specific operating permits, and communicating chemical properties of product components to State agencies for toxicology review.

Experience at Talisman Energy​

​

  • Onsite project support for fracking operations located throughout the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas.

  • Primarily tasked with coordinating with project managers and site operators to collect data for air permit applications.

  • Other tasks included providing compliance support to operations, emission inventory data management, and internal emission source auditing. 

Experience at Naugatuck POTW

​

  • Assisted in the preparation of a Title V Operating Permit application package consisting of application forms, calculations, and other supporting material.

Experience at Borough of Naugatuck WWTO

​

  • Tasked with analyzing and assessing the odor complaint history of the WWTP to identify whether odor control improvements installed since a recent report had resulted in a significant reduction in odor-related complaints.  

Experience at Lone Star Energy Fabrication LLC

​

  • Assisted in the air dispersion modeling analysis in support of State NAAQS and Health Effects required for a new permit application for a proposed expansion project. PM10, PM2.5 were among the modeled criteria pollutants evaluated for the NAAQS analysis in addition to over 140 non-criteria pollutants consisting of volatile organic compounds and spciated particulate matter.

Experience at Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids
